About the St. Augustine Amphitheater

The St. Augustine Amphitheater, like much of our beautiful city, reflects the long history of the Nation’s Oldest City. It was built in 1965 in commemoration of the 400th anniversary of St. Augustine. The Amphitheater is located along 16 acres of Anastasia State Park, including a section that used to be an old quarry which contained coquina rock.
