Thanks to Henry Morrison Flagler, just before the turn-of-the-century; St. Augustine, Florida has become a popular tourist destination. Despite what we learned in early history lessons, St. Augustine is actually the oldest, continuously-occupied European settlement in the country. Founded in 1565 by the Spanish, we are older than Jamestown and Plymouth Rock. Findings concur with the First Thanksgiving actually being held right here in close proximity to the famous Fountain of Youth Archeological Park.

When visiting St. Augustine one of the most popular places to stay are right in the heart of the historic area near all the attractions and most-visited sites, not to mention the festivals, parades, and annual happenings. The Agustin Inn provides guests with one of the most-convenient locations here. We are located in between the Castillo de San Marcos and bayfront and St. George Street Pedestrian Mall.
