The 2013 Seventh Annual St. Augustine Music Festival (SAMF) is scheduled as a series of six free concerts over two weekends in June beginning on the Thursday June 20th with “Back to Bach”. The concert is by far one of the most popular annual happenings in Downtown, St Augustine! To show our support the Agustin and several St Augustine Bed and Breakfasts are offering a 15% discount for attendees of the event.
This offer does not apply to pre-existing reservations or one night stays and cannot be combined with any other special offer. To take advantage of the Music Festival discount, you must call the inn directly to reserve.
Thanks to the gracious support of local businesses, the arts community, the City of St. Augustine, volunteers and attendees, the festival will again return in 2013 for its seventh season at the historic Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine and remain completely free to the public.
In order to keep the festival free, SAMF encourages you to get involved with the festival as a donor, sponsor or volunteer, and take this opportunity to give back to the community and visitors to St. Augustine while enjoying some remarkable music!
The concert programs this year include Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons,” Tchaikovsky’s “Serenade for Strings in C Major,” exciting 20th-Century works and guest performances by internationally acclaimed string players.
For the first time ever, the first three of the SAMF concerts will be streamed live to the Internet. Check the SAMF’s official website as more details on that are revealed.
All concerts are at 7:30 p.m. in the historic St. Augustine Cathedral Basilica at 38 Cathedral Place just steps away from the Agustin Inn in Downtown, St Augustine, Fl.
