This pedestrian-only thoroughfare, which is just a short walk from Agustin Inn, houses some of our city’s best restaurants, shops, and attractions. You could easily spend a full afternoon strolling from store to store, browsing and chatting with the friendly shopkeepers. When you’re hungry, you won’t have to search far to find an outstanding restaurant or cafe. There are even a few museums along St. George Street, though most charge admission to visit. Visit the St. Augustine Distillery and the San Sebastian Winery

Get a true taste of St. Augustine at these two fantastic businesses! Both offer free tours of their facilities, where you can get a behind-the-scenes look at how they make their products. With each tour, you’ll also enjoy a complimentary tasting, where you can enjoy small-batch spirits at the St. Augustine Distillery or muscadine wines at the San Sebastian Winery. You’ll even get to learn how the distillery and winery work together to reduce waste and create unique drinks with their barrel-swapping program! While the tours are at no cost, you may find yourself purchasing a bottle or two at either gift shop to take back with you. If that’s the case, remember that we have corkscrews and glasses in our lobby for our guests!
