These three businesses are just a short walk from each other, making it easy to stop by each location in the span of an afternoon. The distillery and the winery both offer free tours on the hour, while the Whetstone Chocolate Factory has tours for $8 that run throughout the day.

San Sebastian Winery

After you’ve sampled the best chocolates in the city, head over to the San Sebastian Winery! Just let them know when you arrive that you’re there for a tour and they’ll direct you to the waiting area. You’ll watch a short video on their process, get to see their barrels, and finally enjoy a guided tasting of their muscadine blends.

St. Augustine Distillery

Visit the Lightner Museum

The Lightner Museum is a love letter to collectors alike. Originally named “St. Augustine’s Lightner Museum of Hobbies,” this museum displays the collections of local businessman Otto C. Lightner. It’s in the former Alcazar Hotel, meaning the many gorgeous works stored inside the building are matched by the stunning exterior.

Tour the Villa Zorayda Museum

Just around the corner from Flagler College is the Villa Zorayda Museum. Built in 1883, this building was modeled after the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain. Since its construction, it’s been a home, a social club, and a speakeasy. Today, you can take an hour-long tour of the house to learn about the significance of its architectural choices and the antique pieces stored within.

Have a Picnic at the Plaza de la Constitución

Enjoy the gorgeous St. Augustine weather and have a picnic at the nearby Plaza de la Constitución! This park often hosts fun annual events and live performances, like Music in the Plaza. This summer-long concert series is completely free and is one of the best places to enjoy live music in St. Augustine. We suggest you stop by one of the fantastic local restaurants or cafes for a to-go meal and enjoy a delicious Cuban sandwich or empanada while relaxing in this beautiful historic park.
