Blessing of the Fleet

St. Augustine Easter Parade of Horses & Carriages – Paradas de los Caballos y Coches
Experience the 60th annual presentation of this famous Easter parade featuring horse-drawn carriages, marching bands, floats, drill teams, clowns, the Easter Bunny, and the Royal Family. This year’s Grand Marshall is two-time Emmy Award winner Loretta Swit — best known as Hot Lips Houlihan from M.A.S.H. The parade begins at 3 p.m. at the Mission Nombre de Dios, goes down San Marco Avenue and along Avenida Menendez. The parade lasts approximately 1.5 hours. Trophies will be presented in four categories.

16th Annual Vilano Beach Sunrise Worship Service
The 16th Annual Easter Sunrise worship service begins at 7 a.m. on Vilano Beach, The 45-minute service will include songs, scripture readings and a gospel message. Donations to help with expenses graciously accepted. Sunrise is at 7:23 a.m. Attendees may want to bring chairs, blankets, cameras, sunglasses and friends.
