St Augustine Beach Concerts Listed as One of the Top Free Things to Do

The Music by the Sea series at St Augustine Beach is now on its 15th season in 2017, with concerts continuing each Wednesday evening through September 13, 2017. This annual summer music and food celebration features local bands and performers paired with local restaurants to entertain visitors and promote St. Augustine Beach. The famous Music by the Sea Concert Series has been recently known as one of the top free things to do in St Augustine!

 

This exciting concert series features a different delicious restaurant at each concert event along with a different local performer. The concerts are a family-friendly event and a favorite thing to do among locals and visitors during the summer in St. Augustine. Guests can purchase a dinner plate from the sponsoring restaurant and kick back and relax while enjoying some great tunes. The food is a highlight of the evening!

 

Music by the Sea concert series takes place every Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the St. Johns County Pier on St. Augustine Beach. The concerts take place “rain or shine,” but may occasionally have to be canceled if the weather is severe. The best way to check if the concert will go on is to visit the Facebook page for Music By the Sea sometime after 3:00 p.m. on the day of the show.

 

This year, Old Town Trolleys of St. Augustine is offering free shuttle service to the Pier from two satellite locations on St. Augustine Beach (see details under parking, below).

Admission is to the event and ticket price for meals is $10 or less per person.

The concerts are held at St. Augustine Beach Pier located at 350 A1A Beach Blvd. St. Augustine Beach, FL 32080. These take place every Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. from May 24 through September, 2017. Food is served at 6:00 pm and the music starts at 7:00 p.m.

Old Town Trolley Tours offers free shuttle services from satellite parking areas at Ron Parker Park (607 Old Beach Rd.) and St. Augustine Beach City Hall (2200 A1A South) from 5:45 until 10 p.m. St Augustine Beach is just minutes away from the Agustin Inn! If you are planning on spending your day on the beach side, the concert is definitely a great follow-up!
