This Saturday, March 29th and Sunday March 30th, will be days for entertainment that educates us on St Augustine's Military History when the Garrison Grand Muster is held in the St Augustine Historic District.

The Spanish Garrison’s Grand Muster, tattoo and parade will take place on Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Activities and an encampment depicting eighteenth century Spanish military arts and garrison life will be presented during the day at the Colonial Quarter Living History Museum, while the Garrison Grand Muster Torchlight Parade will be held beginning at 8:00 p.m. from the sally port of the Castillo de San Marcos and concluding at the Governor’s Palace on the City Plaza.
Portrayals interpreting Spanish military life, drills and weapons demonstrations, and women’s crafts and activities of the period will be presented.
The Garrison events are free of charge and visitors are invited to follow the soldiers, militia and townsfolk in the parade and celebration. All activities are just steps away from the Agustin Inn making us the ideal accommodation for exploring the nation’s oldest city and joining in on all the action.
