One thing is for sure – if you’ve heard about St. Augustine having awesome restaurants, this is your weekend to visit! We not only have the First Annual Baconfest going on in the events field, but there is also an official Taste of St. Augustine happening at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre! You will not have to make the difficult decision of which one of our amazing restaurants you will patronize. Unless you are here for week, its nearly impossible to hit them all, but we have made a way this Saturday afternoon!
What we mean by a “taste” is simply food from several select St. Augustine restaurants all in one setting! Believe me – you will be stuffed beyond imaginable after the 18th Annual Merrill Lynch “A Taste of St. Augustine”!
A Taste of St. Augustine has grown to be the city’s premiere outdoor food festival, conveniently located at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on A1A South. This signature food festival serves up exciting “tastes” from over 20 of St. Augustine’s famous restaurants. Restaurants will compete for the prestigious TOSTA (Taste of St. Augustine) awards, with categories including Best Family Dining, Best Ethnic, Best Upscale and Best Dessert, as well as the ever popular “People’s Choice”, so make your vote count!
This year’s event includes an accompanying music festival designed to showcase a variety of genres of music. A Taste of St. Augustine incorporates all things local: local cuisine, local brewery, local winery, local music all benefitting a local cause – EPIC Behavioral Healthcare.
Admission to A Taste of St. Augustine is $5.00, and food and beverage tickets cost $1.00 each, with most “tastes” somewhere between 2-5 tickets. Free parking and children under 11 receive free admission. All Taste patrons can use their tickets to receive discounts at local attractions including Ripley’s Believe It or Not and Marineland Dolphin Adventure. The event opens at noon and closes at 8pm on Saturday, April, 26th.

No problem, simply ask the innkeeper to assist you will the number to a local taxi for convenient and hassle free transportation without the parking issues. We are happy to assist!
