St Augustine Bed and Breakfast Holiday Tour Sets Date For 2016

SAHI-2016-Christmas-Through-the-Years.193130200This year’s annual and ever-so-popular St. Augustine Bed and Breakfast Holiday Tour takes place Saturday, December, 10th and Sunday, December 11th. Always on the second December weekend of the year; this event just grows more and more popular each year among visitors and locals of St. Augustine, Florida!

Each year the tour chooses an all-new holiday theme. This year’ theme chosen is “Christmas through the Years”. Each inn will choose their part in this fun theme! One year, Twelve Days of Christmas was chosen and the inns partook in a day dressing their inn with things like turtle doves, partridge and pear trees and you know the song!

Don’t miss the opportunity to grab a taste from our fabulous partner and neighboring restaurant – Michael’s Tasting Room! As a matter of fact, tradition involves each inn paired with a local restaurant offering up some of their favorite dishes!

Feedback has proved that this is the one tour that will really get you in the holiday spirit of things as holiday decoration is a must and know one does that better than the inns! Just prior to the tour, you can embark on another journey through the city’s Annual Nights of Lights!

Tour Details

This is a self-guided walking tour so be sure to wear comfy shoes. Your ticket will include an extensive tour booklet with maps of each days inns on the tour. Saturday will feature half of the inns in one general area of the historic district and Sunday the other half in another area. You may begin at any inn and in any order you choose. There will also be a free shuttle provided through Old Town Trolley Tours designated solely for this tour. The trolley will specifically stop at different points along the route but some walking will still be required.


Both days the tour will take place between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. and begin at any one of the inns.

Partial Proceeds of the tour are reserved for a designated charity each year. This year’s chosen charity is the Lightner Museum. Their mission is to preserve, maintain, research and interpret the Museum’s collections for the educational benefit of the visiting public. The museum is a non-profit cultural institution sustained by admissions and donations, and is supported by a dedicated staff of volunteers.


Tickets for the Annual St Augustine Bed and Breakfast Tour will officially go on sale in early September so keep checking the official website to grab them early as it is for sure this year’s event will sell out quickly!
